Practical experience from the ground up

FutureBright is the design and R&D practice of Raymond McGreal, who holds a B.Arch. from the School of Architecture at the University of Limerick.

Raymond has several years of practical experience playing a leading role in the development a commercial-scale pyrolysis plant and facility in Co. Mayo, Ireland — working across design, fundraising, procurement, construction, commissioning and process development.

Who FutureBright works with

FutureBright Studio supports pyrolysis, biochar, waste-processing, circular-economy, carbon-removal and environmental-technology projects.

The work is relevant to founders, businesses, councils, research groups, investors and technology developers.

module_1 // feasibility

Pyrolysis feasibility & early-stage project development

Pyrolysis projects often begin with a promising idea, an available feedstock or a commercial opportunity — but an unclear route forward.

FutureBright Studio can help clarify the opportunity, identify the critical uncertainties and practical constraints, and establish a structured path forward.

  • Desktop feasibility reviews
  • Technology-provider market scans
  • Feedstock and application research
  • Early-stage project definition
  • Plant-layout and process-integration thinking
  • Supplier engagement and technical information gathering
  • Support preparing projects for funding and investor discussions
  • Practical next-step planning

module_02 // design development

Concept development, prototyping and visualisation

Making early-stage ideas tangible enough to test, understand and develop.

  • Concept development
  • Prototype and demonstrator design
  • 3D modelling and visualisation
  • Plant-layout concepts
  • Architectural and site drawings
  • Process diagrams and explanatory visuals
  • Physical scale models
  • 3D-printed components
  • Visual material for funding, investor and client discussions
  • Public-realm and environmental design concepts
